Measure Me Dis ยท Last updated 18 September 2026
Measure Me Dis converts measurements between American and European units. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.
Nothing. We operate no servers and hold no database. We cannot see your measurements, because they never leave your device.
The app stores a small amount of information locally so it behaves sensibly between launches. None of it is transmitted to us.
Deleting the app removes all of it, with one exception noted below.
Every calculation happens on your device. The app requires no internet connection to convert anything, and does not send your measurements anywhere. There is no account, and nothing to sign in to.
The free version displays a banner advertisement supplied by Google AdMob. Google โ not us โ collects information in order to serve those ads. This may include:
Google's handling of this data is governed by its own policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether a purchase exists, so that it can unlock the paid features.
The start date of the free trial is stored in your device's keychain, which survives deleting and reinstalling the app. This is deliberate: it stops the trial restarting indefinitely. It is a single date, it identifies nothing about you, and it is never transmitted.
The data controller for this app is Miguel Ferreira, trading as Cloth & Chalk, contactable at clothchalk@gmail.com. Because the app itself collects nothing, this matters mainly for the advertising described above, where Google acts as an independent controller of the data it gathers.
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, our legal basis for personalised advertising is your consent, gathered through the form shown when you first open the app. You may refuse, and you may change your mind at any time. Non-personalised advertising is shown on the basis of legitimate interest in funding a free app, and uses no advertising identifier.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to your national data protection authority.
In practice, most of this is already in your hands: we hold nothing to send you or delete. To act on data held by Google, use the links in the advertising section above, or:
Nothing is processed by us anywhere, because we receive nothing. Google may process advertising data outside your country, including in the United States, under its own safeguards.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
